The Liquiflo range of gear pumps has recently been expanded with the addition of their new PFA lined pumps for safe transfer of aggressive liquids such as inorganic acids, bases and salts.
 
The development of the Liquiflo magnetically driven PFA lined gear pumps allows leak free pumping of hard-to-handle liquids without the expenses associated with pumps made from expensive alloys or exotic metals. By combining a PFA plastic lining in a stainless steel housing, maximum corrosion resistance is guaranteed without compromising the strength needed for process pump applications.

Liquiflo PFA Lined Gear Pumps are an excellent choice for pumping chemicals that are difficult to handle with or require expensive alloys in metallic pumps. They are ideally suited for handling inorganic acids, bases and salts, such as Hydrochloric Acid, Ferric Chloride, Sulphuric Acid, Hydrofluoric Acid, Sodium Hypochlorite, Nitric Acid, Sodium Hydroxide and Chromic Acid.

Liquiflo PFA Lined Gear Pumps are also the first choice for high purity services where contact with metallic components must be avoided.

The advantages of PFA lined stainless steel housings for these type of pumps are that they do not suffer from wicking problems associated with fibre reinforced housings and the effects of heat entrapment and corresponding thermal expansion issues are minimised as are the effects of fluid absorption. Using a PFA lining in a stainless steel housing also increases the strength and durability required for process pump applications.
